Walgreens Batteries

This morning was the normal routine. Drag myself outta bed, drag Joe outta bed, drag Sara outta bed. I bring Sara to school and on my way to work I hear that Ed Norton will be calling in on my favorite radio morning show: 97X at 8:45am. Well, my office sucks with radio reception so I usually listen to music via my computer. My speakers have been dead this week (batteries died and I have no plug for them.) So I decided to stop by Walgreens to buy some batteries. Oh boy did I get a deal!! The Walgreen brand batteries were on sale. Yes! A package of 8 AAA batteries is regularly $5.49. But if you buy 2 packages it's 2/$5.99. So for $0.50 more you get 8 more batteries. That's 16 AAA batteris for $6! I was so esctatic! I have a supply of batteries now that should last me months! So now I've got 97X blarring on my computer speakers so I sit hear to wait for the interview (and listen to some good tunes afterwards.) Life is good.
