Driving

I hate driving. Will someone please take the "pull out in front of me" tag off the front of my car? This year I bring Sara to school and pick her up after school. My once 25-ish minute commute became an hour communte one way. I don't mind too much. It gives me good mommy-daughter time to talk. But OMG people are so ruthless and idiots! Especially the dang tourists that don't know where they are going! (No offense if you become a temporary tourist here. Please keep reading.) I will admit I'm not the perfect driver but I do know how to use my blinker when I change lanes or turn. I know what yellow lights mean and I sure know what school zone means. But obviously the idiots that live near Sara's school don't. And I think the worst part of my commute is right after I drop Sara off. The crossing guard. He's an idiot. I don't think he realizes that it's ok to make the children wait a minute before crossing so traffic can flow. I probably spend 1/4 of my commute in this backed up traffic area becuz this crossing guard stops traffic for every single kid as soon as they walk up to the corner. He needs to allow traffic to flow. F-L-O-W, I say. And complaining does no good cuz our schoolboard sucks.

On a positive note I make it to work, school and home each day safe. Sara gets an education and she is safe. I guess I can say life is good. Most of it.

I'm so glad you looked at the bright side of it. No matter where you go or what you do there will always be idiot drivers. I can't stand them either they are do DUMB. People cutting out in front of you and tailgating too. Everyone is always in a hurry to go no where. I'm glad you are thankful you and Sara get to where you are going safe, that is all that matters. Until later....
