Socks

I like socks. Well, not all the time but mainly about 3 months out of the year. Being in FL I wear flip-flops most the time. If I had my way I'd go barefoot everywhere but then that wouldn't be too safe either. The weather here has finally started to cool off. The past few days it's been mid 60's when I leave for work. High's are mid 80's. It's great! Being a true Floridian (born & raised!) anything below 70 is cold to me. So that means it's hibernation time for my flip-flops and time for socks and closed toe shoes. I've started my sock season with a taste of Halloween. See:



I bought a new pair for Halloween that were ankle socks and they had a little bat attached to the back that dangles off but unfortunately my shoes were too tall in the back and the bats didn't fit. :-( So Sara took them. I have many Christmas socks that I am looking forward in wearing. I think I will make a series of sock posts just so I can display my cool-looking socks. So here's to a happy sock season!
