Politics Suck

I am not a very political person. I try to avoid most political talk. Especially with Joe and Joey. (I actually try to avoid any and all conversation with Joey but that's another post another day.) So I'm sitting here with Joe watching the VP debate. Joe keeps commenting how much he likes Palin. He likes her because she is hot. Hmmm, what a great way to decide who you will vote for. Then Joey arrives home. He walks in and Biden is speaking. Joey's comment "eh whatever you suck." Now I'm a registered Independent. So the party I will be in favor of is the party that I think can do the job. Joe and Joey are strong Republicans. I hate, I repeat, I HATE discussing things that they feel so strongly about. Because in their views, their opinions are right and everyone else is wrong. So I have learned to just agree with them and keep my mouth shut. Not just with politics but with any subject.

So within the next month I will be doing my research on my own of Obama and McCain to see who I feel will do the job right. I want to give the benefit of the doubt to both parties. I hate the advertisements for them because all they are is bashing the other party. Why not advertise your own positives? Like I said, politics suck.
