Sunday Morning Panic!

So last night I go to take a shower. I always take my rings off when I shower. Well I forgot to put the important ring back on after the shower. How I forgot is beyond me but I did remember short while later but was too lazy to get off the couch to get it. My darling nephew was over for the night so I was distracted with him. A while later I'm trying to get him to sleep in Sara's room. I did not want him waking me up early when I wanted to sleep in. And guess what! Here it is 9:18am and both him and Sara are still sleeping. Do you think if I had set him up in my bedroom he'd still be sleeping? Of course not! So anyways, I fell asleep in Sara's room last night with Sara on one side and Jayden on the other. When I woke up Joe had already gone to bed so I just climbed in bed with him. This morning I get up and him and Joey had already left for their weekly Sunday morning golf. I go to the bathroom to get my ring since I totally forgot all last night to get it and it wasn't there. My first thought: Joey stole it to hock it for cash since he's a loser and doesn't have a job. I search and search and it's nowhere. I'm flipping out cuz I know Joe will have a hissy fit since he doesn't understand why I take it off to shower anyways. Well it becomes a bit loose when I'm wet and I don't want it to slip off. That's why. I call Joe and interupt his golf game and he says he doesn't know where it is but will help me look for it when he gets home. He was way too calm and nice so I knew there was something up. So I'm in tears. I can't find my important ring. I'm on my hands and knees searching thru the floor, I'm tearing apart the drawers and underneath the sink. No way could it have gone anywhere unless someone physcially moved it. Guess where I find it? In the corner of the drawer on the opposite side of the bathroom counter. Now how in the world can it move 5 feet and over the sink and land in that drawer? This is why Joe was so calm. He was trying to teach me a lesson. Well I learned it. My ring ain't never coming off again!
