Facebook & Twilight

As most of you know I work in the floral industry. Mother's day is the 2nd biggest holiday for us. Since we are high on the todum poll, our holiday rush is a few weeks prior to the holiday. Things haven't been that bad and I've actually had a few minutes here and there to "play." So what do I do when I "play?" I'm on gooing all about Edward and checking out Facebook. I found this group, Addicted to Twilight, on Facebook so I've spent much time checking out all the great images and taking the silly tests. (I've taken several tests that say I'm compatible to be with Edward. =) There is this quiz about Twilight (books & movie) and I'm so hooked on it. I know most the answers. I still have half of Breaking Dawn to finish reading. But I had a goal to become top of my team which basically I believe is just my other friends that also do the quiz. Well today I finally beat my top friend! (My chick-a-dee's hubby!!) I know such a silly thing but I feel so accomplished!

Ok, I'm going to stop gooing all over Edward and try to get back to work.

Twilight

It's 110% official. I am obsessed with the Twilight book series. I'm in love with the characters. All I want to do is read. I'm averaging 1 book a week. I just started reading Breaking Dawn (book 4) last night. This all started when Sara wouldn't let me watch the movie until I read the book. So on the flight home from Paris I started reading. I couldn't stop. I read almost the entire book! I was eager to start reading New Moon afterwards. Everyone laughs at me at how I've jumped on the Twilight bandwagon and I am so taken by them. But who cares! I'm enjoying myself! I LOVE this fantasy world with Edward and Bella. All I can think about is Edward; how he sparkles in the sunlight; his body rock solid and ice cold; his awesome shiny silver Volvo and how he drives so fast; his fast running speed; his "old-fashion" gentleman personality. OMG I even dream of the stories at night! There's also werewolves involved in the stories and their body heat is like 108 degrees. Well Joe gives off a lot of body heat so I'm dreaming more of the werewolves than I am of the vampires! LOL.





Crazy, crazy what a fictional story will do to you. I did watch the movie and can't wait for New Moon to come out in November. I'm so addicted it's almost not funny...

Animal Shelter Volunteering

I was reading my weekly volunteer newsletter from the Humane Society this morning which included a link of an article about being burned out on volunteering for animals. I read it and thought it was an excellent article and figured it could probably go for any organization you may volunteer for (even though it focuses on animals.) Check it out here.

Europe

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. With school over, Europe trip done and work just about caught up I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. It's tough because I'm hooked on the Twilight book series. All I want to do is read! And all I think about is Edward! lol

It was an awesome trip and I would love to go back to Paris on my own. Our tour guide kinda sucked but overall it was just absolutely amazing! Our favorite experience was going to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Too cool!!

I'm back!

I'm back from my Europe trip which was absolutely awesome! I also became an auntie again! Things are a little crazy at work since I have a week's worth of stuff to catch up on. So I will have to give you the fun details of my trip later but you can read about my new niece here.
