Crafting For A Cure

I've been working on organizing a fundraising event for our Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It will be on April 2 and it's a craft & vendor event. I am soooooo excited about it! We've had such a great response in interest in participating. Today I started advertising the event. Hopefully it'll bring in lots of funds to go towards breast cancer. We'll have companies such as Avon (of course ;-), Gold Canyon Candles, Thirty-One, Dove Chocolate, Mary Kay, Partylite, purses, Usborne Books, scrapbooking, tie-dye, tutus, knitted items, Tupperware, Tastefully Simple and so much more! There will be a raffle for several baskets of goodies; food for sale. I'm just so excited not only for the fundraising but to see all the crafts & products that will be for sale!

Changing Time

As I review over my blog, the one I want to post to at least weekly, I realize it needs a facelift. So hopefully this week I can squeeze in time between Avon, Sara & Joe and the parents' residence to give my blog a new look. I will tell you now that Thursday night at 8pm I will be busy. New season of Vampire Diaries start!! Yippeee!!

Laptop Smashtop

A week ago my laptop started shutting off all my itself. Thru last weekend it became more and more often to the point we couldn't get it to even boot up. Brought to CompUSA and it only took 6 days for them to diagnose it to have a bad motherboard. Oh this so sucks! So this week at work (aka: parents' house) I've been using mom's desktop. It.Is.So.S-L-O-W! At least I got my desktop at home working again--that was down for months so at least I have a decent working computer at home. At home. Not at work. But all my Avon stuff is on my laptop so my delimma now: to fix or to buy new. Although my dad gave me a Mac laptop so I'm wondering maybe I should fix that up? I'd love to go back to Mac. So decisions decisions and what will my checkbook approve.

I am also in process of creating another blog just for my Avon business. This has turned out to be a great opportunity for me and am eager to continue to build it. So when I have that up and going, you'll be sure to know! You won't want to miss out on my Avon talk that will include product testimonials, upcoming new products, campaign specials and my own specials. Life has been keeping me busy. Even more so my Avon business. I LOVE AVON! Not only the products but I'm making money and helping others achieve the success I am achieving. It's awesome! (Check out my website!)

Joe and I have been house hunting. It's fun most the time till we find a house I love and he hates or vice versa.

Sara's out of school after this week and she's on social restriction for June. It's going to be a loooonnggg month.
